Our Blue/Black/Splash Ameraucana chicks come from carefully maintained breeding stock—authentic Ameraucana genetics in their most traditional color varieties. These heritage chicks grow into reliable layers, producing 180-200 pale blue eggs annually while thriving in varied climates.
What makes these special: True Ameraucana genetics (not Easter Eggers), classic blue, black, and splash color genetics, and consistent blue egg production. Our breeding flock is NPIP tested, cold-hardy, and raised on pasture at Twin Ponds Farm.
Flock Details:
- Cold-hardy with pea combs (ideal for wet weather)
- Begin laying at 5-6 months
- Hens average 5.5 lbs, roosters 6.5 lbs
- Dual-purpose: excellent layers and table birds
- Medium to large pale blue eggs
