Our Blue/Black/Splash Ameraucana hatching eggs come from carefully maintained breeding stock—authentic Ameraucana genetics in their most traditional color varieties. These heritage birds combine striking plumage with reliable production, laying 180-200 pale blue eggs annually while thriving in varied climates.

What makes these special: True Ameraucana genetics (not Easter Eggers), classic blue, black, and splash color genetics, and consistent blue egg production. Our breeding flock is NPIP tested, cold-hardy, and raised on pasture at Twin Ponds Farm.

Flock Details:

• Cold-hardy with pea combs (ideal for wet weather)
• Begin laying at 5-6 months
• Hens average 5.5 lbs, roosters 6.5 lbs
• Dual-purpose: excellent layers and table birds
• Medium to large pale blue eggs

Each order is hand-selected and carefully packaged for shipping. Hatching success depends on shipping conditions and your incubation setup—we provide handling guidelines with every order.

By purchasing hatching eggs from us, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Fertility & Hatch Rates – While we regularly check fertility in our breeding pens, we cannot guarantee hatch rates due to variables beyond our control, including handling during transit, x-raying during transit, incubation methods, and environmental conditions (freezing, heat). 
• Shipping Risks – Eggs are carefully packaged to minimize damage; however, shipping can expose them to rough handling, temperature fluctuations, and delays. These factors may affect hatchability. 
• Liability – Once eggs leave our possession and are accepted by the shipping carrier, we are not responsible for loss, damage, or delayed delivery. All risk passes to the buyer at the time of shipment.
• Insurance & Claims – If shipping insurance is purchased, it is the buyer’s responsibility to file any claims directly with the carrier for lost or damaged packages. All shipments come with $100 of insurance but it is the buyers to purchase additional insurance if their order exceeds this amount.
• No Refunds or Replacements – Due to the perishable and unpredictable nature of hatching eggs, all sales are final.
