Butterhead — Prized for its soft, buttery-textured leaves that form loose, tender heads. Butterhead lettuce has a mild, sweet flavor that makes it a beautiful base for wraps, salads, and layered sandwiches. The delicate leaves practically melt in your mouth, and the loose head structure makes harvesting a few outer leaves at a time easy while the plant continues to grow.

Romaine — The backbone of any serious salad garden. Romaine produces tall, sturdy heads with crisp leaves and a rich, nutty flavor that holds up to bold dressings, grilled proteins, and hearty toppings. A natural for Caesar salads, grain bowls, and anywhere you want crunch with substance.

Red Romaine — All the crispness and nutty depth of traditional Romaine with the added beauty of deep burgundy-tipped leaves. Red Romaine brings color and visual appeal to salads and plates while delivering the same satisfying flavor and texture. A striking variety that looks as good in the garden as it does on the table.

All lettuce varieties thrive in Southern Virginia’s cooler spring and fall seasons, giving you two productive growing windows each year. All starts are nursery-grown at Twin Ponds Farm & Nursery in Lawrenceville, VA. Available in a 4″ pot or in 4-cell and 6-cell trays for gardeners planting in quantity. This product is pick-up only at the farm.
